DETROIT (WWJ) -- Tips are wanted in the case of a young woman who was murdered last summer, while riding in a car on Detroit's east side.
At 12:25 a.m. Thursday, July 13, 2023, investigators say 23-year-old Iyanna E. Brown was in the front passenger's seat of "an associate's vehicle" in the 19400 block of Binder, when a black SUV pulled up.
According to Crime Stoppers of Michigan, the vehicle Brown was in was pursued by the SUV before someone inside fired shots, striking Brown.
The suspect vehicle then continued north on Binder, fleeing the area.
Brown, who was also know as "YB", died of her injuries.
Now nearly nine months later, there have been no arrests in the case, and no suspects have been named or described.
As the investigation into this fatal shooting continues, Crime Stoppers if offering a cash reward of up to $2,500 for information that leads to an arrest.
