Road rage shooting in Detroit leaves man in critical condition

DETROIT (WWJ) -- Detroit Police are investigating a road rage shooting that left a man in critical condition.

WWJ's Jim Matthews reports that the incident happened around 4:00 a.m. on Sunday in Detroit.


A woman and her passenger were traveling north on Telegraph Road near Grand River Avenue when she and someone driving a silver sedan were almost involved in an accident.

Words were then exchanged between the woman and the sedan's driver and passenger, before one of the suspects pulled out a gun and began to shoot.

The woman's passenger was struck by gunfire and he was taken to a hospital, where he remains in critical condition.

Police are currently searching for the suspects, who fled the scene after the shooting.
