DETROIT (WWJ) - A garbage truck worker made a grim discovery on Wednesday after a human body fell out of a trash bin during their afternoon route in Detroit.
Police said via FOX 2 that the employee was making his rounds on Albion near Sturgis when he noticed a body fall into his garage truck while emptying cans in front of homes around 4 p.m.
According to police, the body was severely decomposed and an identity could not be immediately determined.
Officials are waiting on the report from the medical examiner's office. No suspects have been identified at this time.
