The intersection of Janet and Christina was blocked off Friday morning after a shoot-out in usually quiet, suburban West Bloomfield.
WWJ's Charlie Langton reports three men broke into the house at about 3:30 a.m. and immediately started firing shots.
But the homeowner returned fire.
There were four people in the house at the time of the break-in and shooting, Langton said. Who was hit and why anyone broke in is still unknown, though Langton says the homeowner was taken to the hospital. His condition is unknown.
Langton later discovered the target of the shooting was allegedly a local rapper, who posted about it on Instagram. In the video, he screams for help and holds a gun.
The suspects fled on foot and are "probably not in the area," Langton said.
Neighbors told Langton there has been "suspicious activity" in the house and West Bloomfield police said it is likely not random.
