LIVONIA (WWJ) -- One person is dead after an early morning crash along I-275 in Livonia.
According to police, a driver from Southfield was heading southbound on I-275 when his car went off the road between Six Mile Rd. and Five Mile Rd., and rolled over.
The man was thrown from the vehicle and died at the scene. His name is not being released at this time.
No one else was hurt.
It's unclear what led to the crash. Police are continuing to investigate.
The southbound lanes of I-275 were closed near the scene through the morning rush, but reopend at around 10:15 a.m.
