SOUTHFIELD (WWJ) Southfield Police are searching for a shooting suspect.
Police said the shooting happened on Sunday, July 19, around 12:33 p.m. Officers responded to the area of Eight Mile and Beech Road on a report of a shooting.
Officers shut down a small portion of Eight Mile Road to process the scene, but it has since reopened.
Authorities did not release the circumstances leading up to the shooting. They said no injuries were reported as a result.
The suspect is not in custody.
