Southfield police seek gunman who opened fire on car full of people outside comedy club

SOUTHFIELD (WWJ) -- Police in Southfield are searching for a suspect who opened gunfire outside a comedy club over the weekend.

Investigators said the suspect fired shots at a car with four people inside just before 2 a.m. on Sunday, outside the Punchline Comedy Club on Northwestern Highway near 12 Mile Road.

Although nobody was hit by any bullets, one woman in the car got broken glass in her eyes, reports Fox 2 Detroit.

At this time, police have no motive in this case.

The Southfield Police Department is currently investigating the situation and reviewing surveillance video in an effort to find the shooter.
