OAKLAND COUNTY (WWJ) -- Michigan State Police say speed and alcohol played a part in a deadly all-terrain vehicle crash over the weekend.
MSP are currently investigating the incident that happened at around 10:20 p.m. Saturday on private property in northern Oakland County on Joslyn Road, north of McGinnis Road.
Investigators say a man was driving an ATV at high speeds before he lost control of it, crashed and was pinned. He was pronounced dead on the scene.
Troopers say there were two other men on the ATV who had been drinking when the crash occurred. They did not have any reported injuries.
The investigation is ongoing and is pending autopsy reports.
