ROCHESTER (WWJ) — A bakery in Downtown Rochester is getting loads of attention for their viral Amon-Ra St. Brown cake on display in the front window.

The life-sized cake at Home Bakery on Main Street is a fully edible depiction of St. Brown standing on his head, the celebration he pulled out earlier this season in Detroit’s win over the Packers at Lambeau Field.

Now the man who inspired the cake is giving back — to the bakery and Lions fans.

The Lions wide receiver said on the latest episode of his St. Brown Podcast with brother Equanimeous St. Brown that he’ll be paying a visit to Home Bakery and holding a ticket giveaway for Detroit’s Divisional Round game.

“So I do have a special, special announcement,” St. Brown said on the podcast. “I don’t know if you guys have seen, but there’s like a literal life-sized cake that Home Bakery made of me.”

“When I first saw it, I was like, ‘no way!’ The attention to detail is crazy,” he said. “I’m checking it out next week in person. I do want to see what it tastes like, too. I need a slice or something.”

St. Brown said in honor of the cake, he’ll be giving away two tickets to the home playoff game.

“So (to) win a chance to attend our divisional round playoff game next weekend, all you need to do is purchase any item at Home Bakery… between Jan. 13 and Jan. 16 to enter the contest. The winner will be announced Friday the 17th,” he said.

St. Brown said a random selection will be made of all customers who enter the raffle.

While the star wide receiver said “I’m gonna take care of you with the seats, I got you,” there’s been no official word on contest details from Home Bakery, as of Wednesday afternoon.

The cake is among many ways Metro Detroiters have been showing off their Lions pride in recent weeks as the team heads into the playoffs as the NFC’s No. 1 seed, following a franchise-best 15-2 regular season.

Earlier this week Oakland County Sheriff Mike Bouchard authorized department personnel to wear Lions hats as part of their uniforms throughout the duration of their playoff run. There’s a proposal to rename Campbell Road in Royal Oak after head coach Dan Campbell.

You’re sure to see Honolulu Blue just about anywhere you go in Metro Detroit as we gear up for another playoff run, and St. Brown is ready to reward two lucky fans for their passion.
