The Michigan Lottery office says the lucky winner, who chose to remain anonymous, won $432,016 after buying the winning ticket at the Winner’s Circle Bar in Marine City.
“I had a good feeling about Fast Cash that day, so I started playing while I was at the bar watching the Daytona 500,” the 66-year-old man told the Michigan Lottery. “When I saw the jackpot drop back to $10,000, I knew I had hit.”
“Winning gives me freedom to do things that I have never had before,” he said.
The man says he plans on buying hunting land and helping some charities that are important to him. He also plans to invest the remainder of the the money.
The winner visited Lottery headquarters in Lansing to claim his big prize.
Fast Cash games are a series of instant-win games that print from terminals at Lottery retailers and range in price from $2 to $20 per play.
Fast Cash games offer a progressive jackpot that can be won instantly and every ticket gives players a chance to win all or part of the progressive jackpot. All of the Fast Cash games feed into one jackpot, which grows with every ticket purchased.
