PORT HURON (WWJ) – Three people suspected of selling drugs in the Port Huron area have been arrested after a narcotics investigation.

Cory Leich of Port Huron and Kathryn Aboussouan of Casco Township have been charged with possession with intent to deliver narcotics, while a third person was arrested but released due to medical issues, according to the St. Clair County Sheriff’s Office.

Leich, 38, and Aboussouan, 29, were arrested on Sept. 20 when they were leaving a Kohl’s store in Fort Gratiot Township. Authorities found heroin and packaging for narcotics during the arrests.

After Leich and Aboussouan – the targets of the investigation – were arrested, authorities executed a search warrant at a home in the 1200 block of Palmer Court in Port Huron. It was the second warrant served at that home this summer.

Investigators arrested a 47-year-old resident of the home and found methamphetamine, packaging and scales in the home. Their name has not been released, pending arraignment.

Aboussouan was arraigned on the charge of possession with intent to deliver heroin/fentanyl, while Leich was arraigned on the same charge for meth. Both were given $25,000 bonds.

They remained in the St. Clair County Jail as of Friday evening.

In a separate drug bust in St. Clair County the Drug Task Force arrested 13 people, including two juvenile targets of the investigation.
