DETROIT (WWJ) Detroit Police are asking for the public’s help in identifying a suspect in an armed robbery on the city’s west side.
Police said the suspect walked into the Dollar General on 7 Mile near the Southfield Freeway (18600 block), carrying a garbage can. He loaded up the garbage bin with items, “brandished a weapon” and ran away with the stolen merchandise, according to police.
It happened around 9 a.m. last Friday (November 11).
Investigators did not disclose what he stole or how much the items were worth in total.
