MACOMB COUNTY (WWJ) - Police in Macomb County are continuing to investigate an armed home invasion at a condominium complex where reports state multiple shots were fired early Thursday morning.

WWJ's Charlie Langton said investigators are currently at the scene at the Lakeside Boulevard town homes on Valenti Lane near M-59 and Hayes in Shelby Township where gunfire allegedly erupted during a break-in at one of the units around 1:15 a.m. on Sept. 21.

"Police are reviewing video evidence and are looking for the suspects," Langton said. "No one at this point in time is in the condo, but that's where the investigation is focusing on at this point in time."

The suspects managed to elude capture and are current on the run, Langton added. No information about those potentially involved were released.

Police are actively working on piecing togother what happened. At this time, it is unknown if there were any injuries connected to the incident.
