DEARBORN HEIGHTS (WWJ) Suspects who may be responsible for a recent string of robberies were arrested on Tuesday after satisfying some cravings at an IHOP in Dearborn Heights.
The two men stopped by the restaurant following the alleged robbery of a Family Dollar store that was only several miles away.
Police say the two men were enjoying their meal when an officer spotted their vehicle outside and called in backup.
The men are suspected of robbing nine businesses, including other dollar stores and Auto Zone stores, according to authorities.
Detroit police and undercover officers with the Wayne County Sheriff's Office made the arrests.
