Panera Bread in Farmington Hills is closed after SUV crashed into the building, no serious injuries

FARMINGTON HILLS (WWJ) -- No one was seriously injured, but some damage was done when an SUV crashed into a restaurant in Farmington Hills.

According to Farmington Hills city officials, the Panera Bread at 12 Mile Rd. and Halsted is closed following the crash on Wednesday.

Paramedics responded, and a passenger in the vehicle was treated and released at the scene, officials said.

The driver was not injured, and no one inside the business was hurt.

The city said the restaurant will remain closed until proper inspections can determine that the structure is safe to reopen for business.

It's unclear at this time what led to the crash, or what charged the driver may face. No further information was immediately released.
