HOLLY (WWJ) -- A crime spree by a Macomb County teen and her 21-year-old boyfriend is over following their arrests last week.
The 16-year-old Holly girl and her boyfriend, Joseph McDonough, allegedly beat the girl's mom at their home. Police say the pair took her car keys and credit cards back on March 2nd. The mom is in serious condition.
The teen and McDonough were on the run for more than a week -- reportedly stealing two cars and from a gas station while evading authorities throughout Macomb County. Warren Police finally apprehended the two suspects last Monday.
The girl is being held in a juvenile detention facility. McDonough is also in custody. He has been charged with three felonies that could land him in prison for more than a decade.
