
DETROIT (WWJ) Police are investigating a shooting of two teen boys on Detroit’s east side, less than half a mile from the Children’s Hospital of Michigan.
Detroit Police said the shooting happened around 4:45 p.m. Friday on West Street in the area of Mack and Brush.
Police told WWJ one of the boys was rushed to the hospital, where at last check, he was in stable condition. The other boy was taken to the hospital, treated for a bullet that had grazed his finger, and released.
The circumstances and the motives around the shooting remain under investigation. No one is in custody.
