Teen dies after reportedly shot by gas station employee in Southwest Detroit

A teen boy was reportedly killed in a gas station shooting in Detroit early Saturday morning and one employee has been arrested in connection to the crime.

DETROIT (WWJ) - A teen boy was reportedly killed in a gas station shooting in Detroit early Saturday morning and one employee has been arrested in connection to the crime.

As reported by FOX 2, the fatal shooting allegedly occurred just after 1 a.m. on November 25 at the CITCO gas station located at 9126 Dearborn Street on the city's southwest side.

The Detroit Police Department said one gunshot victim, a 17-year-old boy, died in the incident.

A 27-year-old man and employee at the gas station was taken into custody, police added.

What led to the shooting currently remains unknown. The case remains under investigation at this time.

No other details were released.
