
(WWJ) - There are thousands of homes without power across Metro Detroit, including many in Westland.
Included in the outages are almost 2,300 customers in Westland, according the DTE outage map. Reports say there are traffic lights out around the area, including the intersection of Ford Road and Newburgh Road.
In total, there are nearly 3,300 people without power, according to the outage map. Many of the outage areas show the cause will be determined once crews are on scene.
Power is expected to be restored around 9 p.m. in Westland and during the evening for other areas as well, though times may be updated as more information becomes available, according to the outage map.
