DETROIT (WWJ) Detroit Police have found the mother of the toddler found wandering around midtown.
"The child has been reunited with his mother at the third precinct," the police said.
Police said the child's aunt saw the little one's picture on TV and directed his mother to the station.
A citizen had found the little boy around 6 p.m. today in front 5500 Trumbull Street in the area of I-94 and Trumbull, according to police.
His first name is possibly DeShawn.
He is between two and three years old, approximately two feet tall and 30 lbs.
No other details have been released about how he was separated from his mother.
