HOWELL (WWJ) - Former President Donald Trump is planning to make a stop in Howell on Tuesday, according to his campaign website.
Trump will be at the Livingston County Sheriff's Office on Aug. 20 at 3:00 p.m. to talk about "crime and safety," the campaign announcement said.
The last time Trump was in Michigan was on July 20, when he was joined by his running mate, Ohio Senator JD Vance. Vance came to Grand Rapids on Aug. 14 to speak at a trucking company.
Vice President Kamala Harris and her running mate, Minnesota Governor Tim Walz, were also recently in Michigan, when they spoke to UAW workers in Wayne on Aug. 8.
The 2024 presidential election will take place on Nov. 5.
