
STERLING HEIGHTS (WWJ) The Macomb County Sheriff’s Enforcement Team (SET) has arrested two Sterling Heights men in connection to a massive drug operation.
The SET executed a search warrant in Sterling Heights on Thursday (5/16) following an investigation. Kyle Derouin, 25 of Sterling Heights, was taken into custody for allegedly distributing “large amounts” of cocaine throughout the city, the sheriff’s office said.

During the search, deputies seized: approximately 16 grams of cocaine, nine Adderall pills, $56,728 in cash, four pistols, two rifles, two shotguns, “multiple” boxes of ammunition, and a Dodge Ram.
Deputies arrested Derouin without incident. He is lodged at the Macomb County Jail. He’s been arraigned in Sterling Heights District on Controlled Substance-delivery manufacture (cocaine, heroin, or another narcotic), a 20-year-felony; Weapons Felony Firearm, a 2-year felony and Controlled Substance, possession of analogues.
He was given a $25,000 bond, 10% cash-surety.
Dennis Lasater, 48 of Sterling Heights, was also arrested. He was charged with one count of Controlled Substances—possession (cocaine, heroin, or another narcotic) less than 25 grams-4 year felony.

He was given a $5,000 personal bond.
