CENTER LINE (WWJ) -- The Macomb County Prosecutor announces charges against two kids accused of threatening a local school

Prosecutor Peter Lucido says the two kids are being charged with an Intentional Threat to Commit Act of Violence Against School, School Employees, or Students -- which is a one-year misdemeanor.

It stems from an incident last Friday at Center Line High School. The two were in front of a judge over the weekend and were released on $500 personal bonds with house restrictions, no Internet use unless for school, no contact with the victims or each other, as well as other standard bond conditions.

"Every school threat shakes the safety of our children and our communities. Juveniles may not fully realize the danger of their words or actions, but the consequences are real," stated Macomb County Prosecutor Peter J. Lucido.

Their cases are being transferred to Wayne County where both of them are from.
