DETROIT (WWJ) – As the investigation into the death of Detroit synagogue leader Samantha Woll continues, Crime Stoppers of Michigan is offering a cash reward of up to $15,000 for tips in the case that lead to the arrest for the murder.
Woll, the President of Detroit's Isaac Agree Downtown Synagogue, was found brutally stabbed to death outside her home the morning of Oct. 21.
Police arrested a suspect in the case, said to be a male acquaintance of Woll's, but they were released from custody over the weekend.
On Thursday authorities renewed pleas for information that helps lead to an arrest. Anyone who knows something about her murder is urged to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-SPEAK-UP or visit 1800speakup.org.
As always, all Crime Stoppers tipsters will remain 100% anonymous.
While a possible motive in Woll's murder has not been disclosed, Detroit police officials have said multiple times no evidence of antisemitism has surfaced.
While Woll was a leader within the Jewish community, she was also connected to Michigan's political world, having previously worked for Congresswoman Elissa Slotkin, and on the reelection campaign of Attorney General Dana Nessel.
