DETROIT (WWJ) -- A Detroit man is facing a long list of charges, after detectives seize a cache of street drugs during a bust earlier this week.

Justin Shannon Alexander, 35, was arraigned on Friday in the 36th District Court on charges including three counts of Delivery of a Controlled Substance, 10 counts of Firearms Possession by a Felon, Ammunition Possession by a Felon, and 14 counts of Felony Firearms. He was granted a $50,000 bond, cash surety.

The County of Macomb Enforcement Team (COMET) said it executed a search warrant in Detroit on May 14 that led them to over 10,000 pills, many of which were fake fentanyl and methamphetamine. Detectives also took guns and $35,000 in cash from the scene.

The street value of the drugs is approximately $50,000.

COMET was assisted by Metro Narcotics Enforcement Team, the Metro South Post, Michigan State Police's ES Team, and Michigan State Police's 2nd District Headquarters.
