DETROIT (WWJ) -- The Detroit Police Department is searching for the driver of a pickup truck in connection with a hit-and-run crash last weekend.
At around 5:12 a.m. on Sunday, June 23, police said and 18-year-old woman was walking in the area of Ford Rd. and Brace, on the west side, when she was hit by a white Ram truck.
The truck, which had a temporary paper plate, continued westbound on Ford Rd. after the crash.
The young woman was taken by EMS to a local hospital where she remains in critical condition.

On Tuesday, the DPD released surveillance photos of the suspect vehicle, hoping that someone will call in with a tip to help them solve this case.
