DETROIT (WWJ) -- Police have released photos of a suspect who allegedly attacked a 71-year-old man during a home invasion and robbery in Detroit.
At around 8:10 a.m. on Saturday, Aug. 17, police say the suspect broke into a home in the area of McClellan St. and E. Vernor Hwy., and stole some tools.
As the suspect was leaving the house he was confronted by a neighbor, police said. That's when it's alleged the burglar sprayed the man in the face with a substance — possibly Mace — before fleeing the scene in a silver four-door Ram pickup.
The suspect is described as a male with slim build, wearing a black baseball cap with a yellow "P"(Pittsburgh Pirates), a blue surgical mask, a black sweater with a red undershirt, dark pants, and dark shoes.

No one was at home at the time of the incident, police said.
While it's now been a month since this incident, the Detroit Police Department has yet to identify the suspect in the case. He's wanted on charges of home invasion and aggravated assault.
Anyone recognizes this suspect, or has any information about this crime, is asked to call the DPD's 7th Precinct at 313-596-5740, or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-SPEAK-UP (1-800-773-2587).
