
DETROIT (WWJ) -- Police are looking for a suspect who robbed a man at gunpoint outside an east side Detroit liquor store.
At around 11:15 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 24, Detroit Police say an armed man approached the 29-year-old victim in the parking lot of Liquor Island Market, in the 17300 block of E. Warren Ave.
The gunman announced a robbery and took the victim’s jewelry, as well as his wallet, containing money, his ID, credit cards, and other miscellaneous sundries.
The suspect fled in a newer-model red Chevy Equinox equipped with a moon roof and luggage rails. The victim was not injured.

Police were still looking for the suspect as of Thursday, and released photos of the suspect vehicle.
