WARREN, Mich. (WWJ) -- Warren police are asking for the public's help in tracking down the people responsible for a shooting after a party that left a woman dead over the weekend.
Police say 26-year-old Johnice Clark was killed around 9:30 p.m. Saturday after leaving a party near Masonic and Schoenherr.
Clark and a friend were driving away when they realized they were being chased by another vehicle. Someone inside the other vehicle fired multiple gunshots and Clark was struck on Schoenherr, between Masonic and 12 Mile Road, according to police.
The woman reportedly drove herself to a nearby 7-Eleven and called the police, but when officers arrived, she had already died.
Warren police are now asking for anyone who has information regarding the shooting to come forward to help in the investigation, offering a $3,000 cash reward for information leading to an arrest of the suspect.
Authorities released photos of five women seen on apparent surveillance camera footage who were at the party, calling them "persons of interest" in the case.
Police are asking anyone who can identify the women or who otherwise has information pertaining to the case to contact Detective Mark Ptaszek at 586-574-4790 or the Warren Police Department Watch Commander's Office at 586-574-4877.
