(WWJ) Wayne County Sheriff Raphael Washington is under fire over explicit posts appearing on his social media.

He says he has no idea how they got there.

Two sexually explicit images were posted to the sheriff's personal Facebook page.

The first showed a video of a naked woman in a hotel dancing. This came out the same day a former employee, Regina Parks, sued the sheriff in federal court for sexual harassment.

The second, posted last week, was of male genitalia.

Speaking to WWJ and Fox 2's Charlie Langton, Washington said he did make either of the posts, and is looking into how his Facebook page was hacked.

"I don't know how it got there; I didn't put it there," Washington said, in the interview that aired on Fox 2 Wednesday night.

Langton asked: "It doesn't look good, does it?"

"It doesn't look good at all, to be on social media. It doesn't," the sheriff replied.

As for the sexual harassment lawsuit, Washington said: "Ms. Parks was fired, and she never had a complaint about me for the four years she worked for me. Never, ever."

The sheriff has asked a judge to throw out the lawsuit, but the judge has yet to make a ruling.

As for the Facebook posts, Washington said an internal investigation is ongoing.
