MONROE (WWJ) -- A suspected sex predator is in the Monroe County jail after trying to meet up with an underage girl at the Mall of Monroe.
Members of the Sheriff's Department's Violent Internet Predator & Exploitation Response Task Force (VIPER) arrested 40-year old Christopher Frank of Westland on Wednesday afternoon.
Investigators say Frank arranged to meet with the underage girl at the mall, where he was instead met by detectives.

On Thursday, Frank was arraigned in 1st District Court on three felony charges, including child sexually abusive activity, accosting a child for immoral purposes, and using a computer to commit a crime.
Bond was set at $500,000. If released on bond, Frank must wear a GPS-enabled tether.
