(WWJ) – The next presidential election is just about a year away. Experts are expecting former President Donald Trump to be the Republican candidate, but a pair of lawsuits in Michigan are vying to keep him off the ballot, arguing he violated the 14th Amendment.

Another lawsuit belonging to Trump himself seeks to block Michigan Secretary of State Jocelyn Benson from making any moves that would exclude his name from the ballot.
