29-year-old woman disappears after getting into black Pontiac in Detroit

DETROIT (WWJ) -- Police are searching for a 29-year-old woman who hasn't seen since she got into a car with two other people nearly a month ago in Detroit.

Kamilah Cook, 29, was last seen last on the night of Tuesday, Nov. 9, 2021, in the 6300 block of W. Brentwood, near 7 Mile Rd. and Woodward Ave.


At around 11 p.m., investigators say she got into a black Pontiac (unknown model) with two unidentified women. The vehicle left the area, and Cook hasn't been seen or heard from since.

Cook is described as a Black female, 5'6'' tall and around 125 lbs., with brown eyes and black hair worn in a ponytail style.

She has multiple tattoos on hand, neck, back, chest and right shoulder, and She was wearing a gray coat, black t-shirt, light colored blue jeans and black Nike Air Force One shoes.
