(WWJ) — A Lansing-area woman and her son, who had not been seen in more than two weeks, have been found safe.
Michigan State Police on Monday morning asked for tips in the search for Brittany Parker and her 9-year-old son, Andre. By 3 p.m. MSP officials said they had been found.
On May 20 MSP troopers from the Lansing Post responded to a domestic violence complaint involving Parker and her boyfriend in Vevay Township — about 15 miles south of Lansing.
No arrests were made at the time of the incident, MSP officials said Monday in a press release.
Several days after police were called for the domestic violence complaint, the mother and son were reported missing by family members.
Authorities have not released any further details surrounding the case.
