(WWJ) -- A young man who was reported missing after a night out in Macomb County last weekend has been found.
Volunteer search parties had gathered in Macomb County to look for 25-year-old Jonathon McDaniel, who was last heard from by phone late Saturday night. He was last seen leaving Three Blind Mice Irish Pub in Mount Clemens later that night.
Over the last couple of days, worried family and friends had assembled groups to look for McDaniel, and launched a "Finding Jon McDaniel" Facebook group to share updates, in hopes of gathering information and getting more people involved.
The Macomb County Sheriff’s Office said in an update Thursday that McDaniel had been located and said “thank you for all of the thoughts, prayers and shares.”
A woman named Jessica Lynn posted an update in the Facebook group dedicated to finding McDaniel, saying “we have found Johnny.”
“Thank you all so much for sharing and helping us find him. At this time we are not going to comment on anything other than letting everyone know he is found,” the post said.
“Please keep my family in your prayers as we navigate the next steps for our family."
It was not clear where McDaniel was found.
