(WWJ) Some people could take a paycut, work from home and maybe still have more money in their pockets.

In today's edition of The Feldman Report, WWJ Business Editor Murray Feldman said that the average person can save up to $6,000 a year working from home part-time, and up to $12,000 working from home ful-ltime.

According to a report by Flexjobs, a service for job seekers that features flexible and remote jobs, here's where the savings comes from:

People working from home could save around $3,000 in transportation costs, and on top of that some auto insurance companies will drop your premiums when you drive fewer miles.

Plus, buying clothing and cleaning clothing could cost you a lot less when you don't have to go into an office each day, and you'll also save a lot of money on lunches when you eat at home.

So, what does the job market look like these days?

According to the latest numbers for the U.S. Labor Department, total nonfarm payroll employment increased by 263,000 in November, but the unemployment rate still increased to 3.7%.

Notable job gains occurred in leisure and hospitality, health care, and government in November. However, employment declined in retail trade and in transportation and warehousing.
