DETROIT (WWJ) A Detroit man, shot in his own car overnight, is now fighting for his life.
Police say the unknown suspect shot the victim, 23, multiple times around 3:30 a.m. Tuesday on Montrose (14300 block) in the area of Grand River and Greenfield.
The victim was sitting inside his Jeep Cherokee at the time.
He was rushed to the hospital. At last check, he was in critical condition.
The suspect remains on the run. A motive and the exact circumstances leading up to the gunfire remain unknown.
