Amazon founder Jeff Bezos is set to launch into space this morning along with his brother and the oldest and youngest people to go to space.
One of those pioneers is from North Texas.
82-year-old Wally Funk is being called the world’s oldest space traveler. She’s from the Grapevine area and goes to church in Southlake, and her friends there are gathering together this morning to watch Funk blast off from Van Horn and travel into space aboard Blue Shepherd, the space craft built by Amazon founder Jeff Bezos.
