As Russia continues its violent invasion os Ukraine, it's understandable that things would get a bit tense between American astronauts and Russian cosmonauts working together at the International Space Station.
While NASA has a long history of cooperation with Russia's space program, with the world in turmoil, will that lead to turmoil in space?
Spaceflight Now reported that, according to Kathy NASA's head of human spaceflight operations division Kathy Lueders, joint activities on the ISS are continuing amid Russia's attack on Ukraine, including preparations for the return of NASA astronaut Mark Vande Hei to Earth on a Russian Soyuz spacecraft later this month.
Mike Murray, the planetarium manager at Delta College in Bay City, joined WWJ's Erin Vee to talk about it in this week's edition of "All Over the Space."
