Monica Bradford, 35, from Buda, Texas, about 15 miles outside of Austin, allegedly hates Halloween.
How do we know this? Because while hundreds of trick-or-treaters roamed through her neighborhood on Sunday, one unlucky 7-year-old who decided to go up to Monica's door was not greeted with a handful of candy, but a shotgun in the face.
Monica had her porch light on, though, so what did she expect?! Reports say she started by yelling at a bunch of kids that had gathered at the end of her driveway when she asked a neighbor if they knew any of them. When the neighbor responded "no," that's when Monica went back into the house to retrieve the shotgun.
Thankfully, another adult was with the children on the driveway. And even more thankfully, no shots were fired and nobody was hurt during the incident, and the police quickly arrived at the scene to apprehend Monica.
She is facing charges of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, and is expected to appear in court at a later date according to FOX 7.
