This summer is nearly half way over and boy, has it been a doozy.

The headlines are never dull during an election year. That's to be expected. But what we've been through in July alone has been -- cue that cringy buzzword -- unprecedented.


It's being called the "summer of never before," full of historic and sometimes shocking events that we will be sure not to forget in the years to come.

Axios compiled a list of July headlines to show just how chaotic the last 31 days have been. Here's what the outlet came up with:

July 1: The Supreme Court rules that former President Donald Trump — and all presidents — are entitled to immunity for "official acts."

July 2: The first elected Democrat calls on President Joe Biden to step aside after his historic debate debacle.

July 5: Biden tells ABC's George Stephanopoulos that only the "Lord Almighty" could convince him to drop out.
