Wide receiver Adam Thielen has been cut by the Minnesota Vikings.
His 10 year run with the team comes to an end as they continue to deal with salary cap issues ahead of the upcoming season.
And of course, Thielen grew up in Detroit Lakes and played football at Minnesota State Mankato on a $500 scholarship.
Thielen, one of the Vikings' most consistent receivers in their history, had a bit of a down year in 2022, catching 77 passes for 716 yards and six touchdowns. He has a career line of 504 receptions for 6,264 yards and 49 touchdowns.
He signed with the Vikings in 2013 after a rookie camp tryout and turned into one of the premier players in the NFL
