Alvin Kamara's legal saga surrounding an arrest and battery allegations from an incident in Las Vegas are just beginning, and his attorney has vowed to conduct a separate investigation into exactly what occurred.
The attorney, Drew Finding, said the allegations are "not consistent with who Mr. Kamara has shown himself to be in both his public and private life," per a report from NOLA.com.

The Saints running back was arrested Sunday evening following the Pro Bowl in connection with the incident, which occurred in the early hours the previous morning at Drai's Nightclub in Las Vegas. According to booking documents, Kamara and a group he was with are accused of attacking a man outside an elevator after a heated exchange, which left the man unconscious and with serious injuries. Kamara spoke with police at Allegiant Stadium before being taken into custody, and admitted to throwing punches in the incident, according to the documents. Police said there is video showing the incident, though police have not yet made any video evidence public, citing the ongoing nature of the investigation.
Kamara posted $5,000 bond and was released the following day, with the next court update expected to come March 8. Police indicated there would be additional arrests in the investigation.
Both Mickey Loomis and new Saints head coach Dennis Allen declined to answer questions with specifics earlier this week with many unknowns still remaining in the case.
"We’re concerned with the people involved, concerned with Alvin. The facts will come out," Loomis said on WWL Radio. "The legal process will run its course and the league will, they handle the discipline for that."
