(SportsRadio 610) -- Just hours after Nike announced it was suspending its relationship with Deshaun Watson, Beats By Dre is parting ways with the Texans quarterback amid sexual assault and misconduct allegations.
According to A.J. Perez at Front Office Sports, the headphones backed by Dr. Dre-founded Beats Electronics will no longer be endorsed by Watson.
Watson has been endorsing Beats By Dre since he was a rookie.
He appeared in a commercial for the company in 2017 focusing on Watson being "the heartbeat" of his hometown Gainesville, Georgia who inspired the town to be better and gave children someone to emulate.
Watson, who had a career season in 2020 leading the NFL in passing despite a lack of team success, is now facing 22 lawsuits from women accusing him of sexual assault and misconduct.
His image, which was once pristine, has taken a hit. Nike and Beats made emphatic statements Wednesday.
