Not only is it the first NFL game to be streamed exclusively on Peacock, but the NFL and NBCUniversal announced Thursday that the matchup will feature a commercial-free fourth quarter for the first time.

NBC says the game will have 40% less ad time than a typical one, which translates to 12 extra minutes of NFL content for fans.

What will the extra time be used for? Some of it will give Mike Tirico, Cris Collinsworth, and Melissa Stark, the trio set to call the game, time to dive deeper into the game's events. It will also give the "Football Night in America" studio team an opportunity to share their thoughts.

Capital One, Hyundai, and Walmart are sponsoring the commercial-free quarter.

Kickoff is scheduled for Saturday, Dec. 23 at 5:00 PM PST at SoFi Stadium.
