Whenever George Kittle’s football career is over, a transition to the WWE only seems natural.

He likes to call himself The People’s Tight End and has been spotted at WWE live events over the years. With his charisma, showmanship, physique and love of wrestling, Kittle makes perfect sense to join the entertainment superpower.

A reporter from TMZ had a brief Q&A with Kittle recently about the possibility of him joining WWE after he retires from football.

“Sounds fun,” Kittle said. “I think I have the personality for it.”

“What would be your wrestler name, I gotta know.” TMZ asked.

“George,” Kittle said, before hopping into his car.

I hope that he would come up with a better nickname, but just ‘George’ would be pretty great too.

His love for wrestling runs deep. Throughout the season, Kittle can be seen wearing Stone Cold Steve Austin T-shirts. Back in 2018, he jokingly got mad at reporters because he wanted to go to the SAP Center in San Jose to see a live event.

“Tables, ladders and chairs tonight at the SAP Center and I will be there,” Kittle said. “It starts at 5 so you guys are kinda killin’ me right now.”

Then he ran right off the stage.

During the Pro Bowl Games in Las Vegas recently, Kittle and fullback Kyle Juszcyzk were practicing their choke slams and RKOs.

The 29-year-old doesn’t seem to be close to retirement, as he absolutely shined with Brock Purdy down the stretch of last season and finished with 60 catches for 765 yards and a career-high 11 touchdowns. So long as he doesn’t pursue singing, a career in wrestling or TV makes a lot of sense.
