Joe Buck is not wasting anytime putting back on the headset with his new network ESPN.

Buck still has a few more months until he makes his way over to the NFL with the network but later this month, he will make his debut calling another sport. According to Andrew Marchand of the New York Post, Buck will man the ship for a "ManningCast" show for ESPN's coverage of the PGA Championship.

The idea behind this is a direct copy of the "ManningCast" we've known to love during the NFL season. Peyton Manning’s "Omaha Productions" company is producing the event and is expected to also produce alternate viewing experiences for UFC and college football as well later this year.

During baseball season, we've been treated to a "Kay-Rod" spin-off of the ManningCast for ESPN's Sunday Night Baseball game, hosted by Michael Kay and Alex Rodriguez. The show is not produced by Manning's production company and has received mixed reviews from fans.

The legendary broadcaster left Fox Sports after over 20 years with the network to join Troy Aikman on "Monday Night Football." He signed a large deal with Disney, said to be a five-year deal worth $75 million a year.

Buck will also be working with David Moulton who worked with him on golf and ESPN golf analyst Michael Collins, who is known as the “ESPN Caddie. The show is expected to take place from a studio in Buck's hometown of St. Louis.

The "Buck-cast" will air on ESPN and then ESPN+ for all four days of the PGA Championship, beginning Thursday, May 19. First and second-round coverage will begin on ESPN while traditional coverage of the tournament takes place on ESPN+.

The "Buck-cast" will be the main presentation when linear coverage begins. Marchand noted that the show plans to book “A list” guests.
