Parents are always worried about the people around their children. While some may think at times it can be a bit much, parents are proven right time and time again for questioning the adults interacting with their kids. Yet another one of these situations occurred recently, this time near Houston where a little league umpire was arrested for bringing meth to a tournament.
Over the weekend, families in the Katy, Texas area, roughly 30 miles west of Houston, went to a little league tournament, where a normal weekend quickly ended with police involvement. During the tournament, some noticed one of the umpires engaging in “suspicious activity in his car.” According to Ft Worth Star Telegram, police arrived and found 2.7 grams of crystal meth in the man’s car.

The umpire was eventually arrested on charges of possession of a controlled substance and brought to Harris County Jail. At least the man was arrested before he could get into a fight with a parent for a blown call.
