Terry Bradshaw rips Matt Patricia, says he 'can't coach a lick'

The 2020 NFL season saw it's first head coaching casualty in early October when the Texans fired Bill O'Brien after six years and four weeks at the helm in Houston. It came after a surprising 0-4 start for O'Brien's squad -- though the schedule was very difficult -- and drew mixed reactions throughout the NFL community.

The Texans aren't alone in terms of teams with disappointing 2020 campaigns to this point, and more firings could certainly be coming sooner rather than later. According to Sports Betting Dime, three coaches are in trouble of being the next victim. The odds to be the next coach fired are as follows:

- Adam Gase, New York Jets (+185)
- Dan Quinn, Atlanta Falcons (+220)
- Matt Patricia, Detroit Lions (+350)

If it were up to Hall of Fame quarterback and NFL analyst Terry Bradshaw, Matt Patricia might be the top name on that list.

"Patricia, in Detroit?" Bradshaw said. "Can't coach. Smartest guy in the world... rocket scientist, engineer, can't coach a lick. Can't hold a lead when they're leading by ten points. He's gotta be going."

However, he's not all too high on Gase, either.

"Gase with the New York Jets?" Bradshaw said. "Terrible head coach. He's gotta get out of there, without even hesitating."

The winless Jets have had rumors regarding the status of their head coach's job security swirling throughout the season, though a loss to the Denver Broncos in Week 4 proved not to be the end of the road for Gase. Still, you have to figure that his seat is as hot as any.

Patricia, on the other hand, was in the news recently after his press conference remarks received a lot of heat from former Lions and several fans and analysts around the league.

With Bradshaw joining the many high-profile figures to make comments regarding the inadequacy of the Lions' and Jets' head coaches, you have to wonder just how long each of them have left before they're dismissed.
