Introducing Mary Kate from Delco: ‘I was just being a passionate fan’

Fan goes viral during Eagles-Saints game for angrily mouthing profanities on national TV

PHILADELPHIA (WIP Sportsradio) — Introducing the real-life Mare of Easttown: Mary Kate Mink, the Eagles fan from Delco.

Mink went viral on Sunday when she screamed, "That's f***ing bulls***" at Lincoln Financial Field. She was protesting a call on Eagles defensive lineman Javon Hargrave in the fourth quarter of their 40-29 win over the Saints.

The rant was caught on national TV and the clip went viral.

Mink was on 94WIP Sportsradio immediately following the win, around 4:30 p.m. on Sunday, and then again on Monday with Angelo Cataldi and the Morning Team.

She called into the Eagles postgame with Rob Ellis and Dan Klecko — and she actually knows Ellis, who says they go back 30 years.

"I was just being a passionate fan. I love the Birds," she passionately told Ellis and Klecko after the game. "Let's go, we're in the hunt. Delco proud!"

Mink joined the morning show at the 29-minute minute mark below:

"Apparently I'm trending on Twitter. My kids are like horrified right now," she told Cataldi. "But it was a great day, a really, really good day."

Mink again explained her zeal for the game.

"I think that Delco gets a bad rap at times," she said. "Philly fans get bad raps and that's horrible because we're just passionate. We're passionate, that's how we are."
